so, fire alarm at 4 AM + 4 shots + anchorman at 6 AM = the most hilarious mornight ever. god i really need sleep, but networks has been taking all of my precious sleep hours. besides, there's obviously better things to do, like not sleeping. ever. no seriously, i mean it.

I saw a homeless man on Forbes today trying to earn his keep. Normally I'm just like everyone else; I pass them by without giving them much thought. Sometimes they just sit there and beg. Sometimes they put on a corny little show. Sometimes, they try to play an instrument with all their heart, but are restricted by lack of skill.

This one, however... My GOD did he have a voice. He blew away any other beggar I have ever seen, even the rare ones who really were gifted musicians. Quite frankly, his voice blew away almost any other voice I have ever heard. Period. Had I not been walking with a group, I would have stopped and listened. It was truly remarkable and deeply moving. Who is this guy anyway, and what was he doing on the streets? People with half his voice make more money in an hour than he will probably ever see in his life. WTF fate, WTF...

I know it's random, but I needed to share that experience with the internets.
